Preparations for a Ride

Check the Weather & Map Route Safety is the most important, accidents usually in the roads checking weather and the route should be prioritized to prevent sickness from heavy rains and too much heat exposure. Everytime isn't always good to time ride. Familiarizing the road is helpful to prevent crashing or lost in every places or mountains. 2. Bring Water & Pocket Money It is essential for a cyclist to be hydrated everytime, proper cycling hydration should include drinking small amounts every 10 to 15 minutes during your workout. This helps replenish the water you lose through sweat, keeps you focused, and improves stamina. Pocket money is helpful to buy snacks, drinks etc during the ride. 3. Wheel Air Pressure The air pressure isn't always the same in every routes. Having an inappropriate tire pressure will affect the cyclist performance. It is recommended for off-road to have a soft air pressure of tire to smoothly run over rocks. While in concrete roads it is suggested to have hard enough pressure that provide the tire with traction by enabling the tread blocks to move and flex as the tires to grip the road. 4. Tools and Spare Inner Tube The availability of repair shops is limited, bringing tools and spare inner tube is a large advantage for a cyclist to quickly resolve the mechanical issues anywhere. 5. Emergency Kit It is important to prepare medicines and first aid incase of accidents in the road. 6. Fit Outfit Wearing proper fit attire will help to accelerate smoothly and maintain accurate speed because it lessen the wind resistance. 7. Stretching A routine to reduce the risk of injury, supplying nutrients to the muscles through blood flow, stretching can reduce the risk of muscle and joint injury and help speed up recovery.
